Uprooted Complex

This sketch is an eco-sustainable apartment complex that I designed. I was inspired to create it because I was researching urban planning and I started trying to think of ways new building developments could still have natural features and elements built in and onto them. The “horn-like stick outs” on the side of the building are small areas that each contain watering systems with trees, flowers, and more. These areas will mimic the natural elements that the building destroyed and place them on it instead. I used different shading tools and pencils to create this sketch and I tried to show different textures and patterns on each of the building's areas.
