Wildflower

Inspired by a botanical garden and arboretum near my home that I often visit to find inner peace, I created this painting using different shades of watercolors and oil paints. This 3-D painting uses oil paints droplets dried to stick up. I did this because I wanted to showcase how all the flowers are different sizes and shapes. I thought that actually making them be long or short by sticking out of the painting was a great way to show that. I also added a bench in the painting to show the comparison and differentiation of how many flowers there really are.
